We are always looking to provide our families with the most well rounded experience when visiting us and we choose to collaborate with other businesses and brands that we feel passionate about recommending.
We are delighted to introduce you to Helen Bartlett Lifecasting! Helen creates high quality castings of babies’ feet and hands, capturing every wrinkle and crease – so wonderful to create precious memories and look back at those little hands in the future and marvel that your child was once that tiny!
The casting material that Helen uses is derived from seaweed and used by dentists to take moulds of teeth, so is perfectly safe for little people. The casting process takes just a few minutes! Helen then casts them using a stone casting powder in her workshop. When set, the cast is removed and cleaned up. Once dry, the casts can be either left as plain plaster or finished to look bronze, silver or painted in a Farrow & Ball colour of your choice.
The finished casts are then mounted in a superior quality box frame with an engraved plaque detailing your baby’s name and date of birth or age at the time of casting.
Helen can also have the casts made in solid bronze. These are a far more robust finished piece that doesn’t need framing…simply displayed on a plinth or straight on the mantelpiece – they are absolutely stunning!
Take a look at this beautiful bronze casting of two brothers holding hands – we love that Helen can incorporate siblings into the castings…
Helen is based in Chandlers Ford, offering these services at extremely competitive prices. We are delighted to announce that Helen is kindly offering an exclusive discount for all Lyn Braund Photography visiting families. You will be able to see examples of Helen’s work and learn about your discount when you join us for your sessions – we can’t wait for you to see next time you visit!
We are looking forward to announcing more forthcoming collaborations very soon!
Please do also take the time to read through reviews that my wonderful families have taken the time to leave for me – their words hopefully say it all!
