Celebrating recognition from The Guild of Photographers

Blog

I’m so excited to share with you a feature in a recent issue of the highly renowned industry magazine ‘Creative Light’.   The digital magazine is curated by The Guild of Photographers, and is a celebration of highly acclaimed work, plus articles to support and inspire professional photographers.

As you may remember, in April I earned the qualification of ‘Qualified in Newborn and Baby Photography’ Guild Membership, reflecting the level of competence that families can expect from their session and subsequent images (read more in our blog here).

I was delighted to learn that following this, I was to be awarded a double page spread in issue 25 of Creative Light – what an honour!

I am including a link to the magazine here if you would like to take a look – I am featured on a double page spread on pages 92-93:

I am so proud that this image, which is one of my favourites, was chosen to recognise my work.  This really captures my individual style: a beautiful baby, combination of textures, co-ordinated tones and my signature inclusion of flowers.  As many of you know, I previously had a successful chain of florists across Hampshire, and I love to bring my two passions together to create a beautiful image.  Although many photographers now seem to be including flowers in their sessions, my professional floristry experience means that I am able to combine colours that others may not consider, and use a wide range of real flowers (interspersed with silk buds) knowing which are in season to create the most stunning image.  Please do take a look at our Deluxe sessions here.

I also love to capture stripped back, airy and natural images, and am always guided by the tastes and preferences of my families – this is your session, and I want to capture an image that you will love.

If you have any questions or would like to book a session, please do not hesitate to contact me either via Facebook, Instagram, or email

Please do also take the time to read through reviews that my wonderful families have taken the time to leave for me – their words hopefully say it all!

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to hear from you soon!

When it comes to family photoshoots, we generally imagine a family portrait created within a studio, and yes, this is what indeed most of our clients come for and we are happy to provide as this is one of the most popular forms of family shoots.
