Following my recent Facebook post, I am delighted to have a moment to be able to write a little more about my exciting news from the Guild of Photographers and show you a selection of images I submitted for assessment!
To give you a little background information, The Guild of Photographers is a national organisation which provides a huge support network to professional photographers. Some of the benefits of membership are that photographers can connect with other members, receive incredible support, and most important to me, the Guild provides members with an opportunity to improve and develop.
It is the Guild that we are able to submit up to 9 images monthly, for their competition which is judged at a national level by a panel of renowned photographers (see more info here). Since joining in June 2017, I am so thrilled to have been awarded 14 awards within the first six months and a further 9 in the first two months of 2018!
Another benefit of membership is that professional photographers can work towards qualifications by submitting work for assessment, again by a panel of highly experienced judges, and progress through membership levels. This analysis of my work allows me to have my skills measured, and demonstrate to clients that I am highly committed to providing the very best all round service.
Following my recent submission, I have been awarded the ‘Qualified in Newborn and Baby Photography’ Membership with the Guild. This award reflects the level of competence that families can expect, and allows them the confidence that they should be more than pleased with my work, as I am now an Ambassador of the Association. Coupled with my extensive and regularly updated safety training, I aim to provide all families with the confidence and knowledge that their most precious treasure is in the safest of hands.
I thoroughly enjoy the interaction and relationships that I have and continue to build with fellow members of the Guild at all levels. I am always looking at ways to improve, and set myself apart from my counterparts. I take every enquiry very seriously, and am committed to providing the absolute best customer service at all stages of our journey together, ensuring I capture the most beautiful images you will be proud to display within your home.
